about
This song is based on the song "Moonlight" by My Bloody Valentine from their obscure EP "Geek." We reinterpreted the song beyond recognition and even made up the lyrics because we had no idea what the singer in the original was saying. This is sort of the first Mole People "original." Recorded live at KVRX Austin in 2009 by Kayla Croft.

SLUGBUG (aka Paul Millar) is a mad genius sound wizard. He's kinda Brian Eno, kinda Devo, all awesome. No computers necessary. [Oh! And Disclaimer: This guy recorded and produced our new LP!] The Mole People
On "Elements of the Field" IDYL's Alex Dupree is becoming a mystical, "Astral Weeks"-era Van Morrison who is just interested enough with Radiohead, musique concrète and hip hop to transcend folk. The Mole People
